1.1 a. About Insane Gaming

IG was created on May 12, 2013, by the Leaders of MIG. This was created to house other communities in a coalition of Clans, that would be housed under one roof, and be managed by the same Ranking Structure. This has been done in the past with other Gaming Communities, and has worked successfully. IG will open it's doors to Clans & Communities that have potential and want to be in a system that wont fail.




1.1 b. About Mentally Insane Gamers

Mentally Insane Gamers (MIG) was created in 2013 by a guy named Dylan (MIG ANTHRAX XI) and a bunch of Ex Leaders and members from the gaming community XG. The idea behind the community was to build a large gaming community that was built for gamers who have a passion for playing video games as a fun, social activity.

Built around a ranking structure that is fit for never ending growth and to create social experiences that inspire action. The rank structure offers the opportunity for members to stand up and lead a group of members. The leadership experiences gained in our rank structure can be put to use in real life situations and future jobs that a member may take on.

Since starting in 2013, MIG has participated on the games; Call of Duty Black Ops 2, and Battlefield 3.

MIG is a Section within the Gaming Community (IG) Insane Gaming.
MIG is for Gamers 15+


1.1 c About Warriors Gone Deadly


Warriors Gone Deadly (WGD) was created in 2011 by a guy named WGD GOTHFATHER. Originally from IG Insane Gamers, GothFather and some other members quit and created WGD to house an atmosphere of "No Drama & No Bullshit". WGD Is for people that are sick of dealing with petty shit online. Bottom line it's a play where people can game and not worry about Modding, Glitching, Drama, just to get on and have fun with other people.

Built around a ranking structure that is fit for never ending growth and to create social experiences that inspire action. The rank structure offers the opportunity for members to stand up and lead a group of members. The leadership experiences gained in our rank structure can be put to use in real life situations and future jobs that a member may take on.


WGD is a Section within the Gaming Community (IG) Insane Gaming.
WGD is for Gamers 18+

Community Organization

Company - The Company is the smallest unit in IG. Consists of 14 ranked members and 6 recruits. A Major is the top ranking member of a Company.

Battalion - A Battalion consists of 84 total members, includes 1-6 Companies. A Battalion General is the top ranking member of a Battalion.

Brigade - A Brigade has a minimum of four(5) Battalions. A Section is ran by a Brigade Commander (BC).

District - A District has a minimum of one(1) Brigade and can have a maximun of six(6) Brigades. A District is ran by a District Commander (DC).

Rank Structure

FOUNDER
Founding member of Insane Gaming.
A Founder is identified by the initials "XI" at the end of the members Xbox Live gamertag (Ex. MIG Sample XI). The Founder & Co-Founders are all equal in ranking.

CO-FOUNDER
A Co-Founder is a Community Leader that has stood out the most, and has been promoted to help, and oversee all of IG's aspects.
A Co-Founder is identified by the initials "XF" at the end of the members Xbox Live gamertag (Ex. MIG Sample XF). All Co-Founders & Community Leaders are equal in ranking.

COMMUNITY LEADER
A Community Leader is a leader of the community and holds the highest rank in the community. A Community Leader has the right to promote or demote any District Commander as they seek and hold the highest superiority of any leader.
A Community Leaders main job is to expand all of IG to new opportunities and to ensure its future growth and stability.
A Community Leader is identified by the initials "MC" at the end of the members Xbox LIVE gamertag (Ex. MIG Sample MC). All Community Leaders are equal in ranking.
For someone to be promoted to Community Leader, it requires a majority vote from all current Community Leaders to agree on promoting a District Commander to Community Leader.

DISTRICT COMMANDER
A District Commander, also known by the initials "DC" at the end of the members Xbox LIVE gamertag is in charge of a District. A select number of Brigades to oversee the well being of the members and success of the Brigades.

District Commander's Responsibilities:
Must assist Brigade Commanders with day to day operations.
Helps with activities within the District.
Provides advice and instructions where needed to keep a Battalion/Company successful.
A District Commander has the power to promote/demote members of the rank Battalion General and below.
Serves as a role model for all Brigade Commander and the entire district.
Start or approve new Battalions. Communicate with the members and address any issues within the District.
Display sound judgment and decision making in all aspects of their online interaction.
Evaluate Battalion General for promotion.

BRIGADE COMMANDER
A Brigade Commander, also known by the initials "BC" at the end of the members Xbox LIVE gamertag is in charge of a Brigade. A select number of Battalions to oversee the well being of the members and success of the Battalions.

Brigade Commander's Responsibilities:
Must assist Battalion Generals with day to day operations.
Helps with activities within the Brigade.
Provides advice and instructions where needed to keep a Battalion/Company successful.
A Brigade Commander has the power to promote/demote members of the rank Battalion General and below.
Must be active online and the forums on a regular basis.
Be available to hear new ideas, suggestions, comments, and solve problems that arise within his/her Brigade.
Work closely with his/her Battalion Generals to ensure that all members are playing in a professional manner and following The Code at all times.
Ensure that Battalion General post their Battalion list
Attend one Battalion meeting per week.
Approve transfers within own Brigade.
Keep discipline within the Companies and report any infractions directly to the District Commander.
Work closely with District Commander to promote MIG in a positive way to all online gamers.

BATTALION GENERAL
A Battalion General is in command of a Battalion within a Brigade. Having achieved the rank of Battalion General, a Battalion General will have numerous responsibilities within the Battalion to fulfill. Overseeing a Battalion, typically housing 1-6 companies of 20-84 members. A Battalion General is eligible for promotion after a Battalion splits. However, a promotion is not guaranteed.

Battalion Geenral's Responibilities:
Battalion General must make sure that all members are registered on the website.
Updates Battalion List, a list of members, weekly.
Ensures that Majors keep their Companies successful and improving.
A Battalion General has the power to promote/demote the ranks of Major and below.

MAJOR
A Major is in charge of a Company within a Battalion. A Company roster is typically 14 members, not including recruits.

Major's Responibilities:
Majors insure the well being of their company members.
Must make sure that all Company members know how to find stuff on the site and assist where needed.
Makes sure everyone within the Company is aware and understands The Code, Rank Structure and the IG Laws.
Assists the A Captain is in charge of a Company within a Brigade. A Company roster is typically 10 members, not including recruits.

LIEUTENANT
Lieutenant is the first leadership position in Mentally Insane Gamers.

Lieutenant's Responsibilites:
Lieutenant assist Majors in running companies and therefore have authority over the company.
Must make sure that all Company members know how to find stuff on the site and assist where needed.
Makes sure everyone within the Company is aware and understands The Code, Rank Structure and the IG Laws.
A Lieutenant has the power to promote a Recruit to Sergeant, with Permission for their Major.
There may be only one (1) Lieutenant at any given time in a given Company.
Must participate in Battalion/Company Meetings.

SERGEANT
As a Sergeant, leaders will be depending on you to work with lower ranks and train with others in order to better prepare for Battalion or Company matches.
A Sergeant is expected to set an example by being a role model for the Privates and Recruits below you and to help them whenever possible.

Sergeant’s Responsibilities:
Follow The Code.
Follow The IG Laws
Follow the Chain of Command.
Set an example by being a role model for the Privates and Recruits and help them whenever possible.
Work closely with Lieutenants and Majors to train others in his/her company.
Must participate in Battalion/Company Meetings.

PRIVATE
The first real rank in the Rank Structure. After getting to understand the Rank Structure as a Recruit for about three days, a Recruit is promoted to Private.

Private's Responsibilities:
Privates must be registered on the website and have added the their Battalion XBL Account (Example: MIG DR BL).
Privates are required to learn and respect The Code, The IG Laws and Rank Structure.
Must participate in majority of Company/Battalion events. Absence to a select few of events are acceptable.
Must participate in Battalion/Company Meetings.

RECRUIT
A Recruit is a new member of the Ranking system. Serves as the rank of Recruit for 3 days before settling in a Company as a Private.

Recruit's Responsibilities:
A Recruit must register on the website, www.IG-Clan.forumotion.com.
Needs to Add on XBL their Battalion Roster (Example: MIG DR BL).
Must read and understand The Code, Rank Structure and The IG Laws.
Must participate in Battalion/Company Meetings.

Different Colors represents a leadership / officer rank. These members have a specific role in the community and must put in a little extra effort for promotion as opposed to the 'member' ranks.
Brown represents a 'member' rank. These are simply ranks that require fewer effort for promotion to another "member" rank. Higher member ranks are simply honorary ranks before promotion to a leadership rank.

1.2 Insane Gaming Xbox LIVE Member Profile

Gamertag: Members of IG are encouraged to change their Xbox LIVE Gamertag to represent the community. It is NOT required and will not deny any member of a rank within the Rank Structure.

Motto: We ask that members of IG to include in their Xbox LIVE motto, the Rank you Hold. For example (MIG Recruit)

Bio: In a members bio, we ask that you put the Battalion and Company that you are in. For example (MIG Devils Rejects Asylum Company)

1.3 Meetings

Meetings are important to keep communication and activity streaming within the community. Battalion meetings are mandatory for a Battalion General to host. Allows a company to catch up on recent events and discuss future events.

Must be scheduled in advance and announced well.

1.4 Withdrawal and Departure


Member Departure
A Member (Battalion General or below) is free to come and go from IG without restrictions. Must return as a Sergeant in the Rank Structure.

Depending on how the member departs IG, will determine whether or not they are allowed to return.

Leadership Departures
A Brigade Commander, District Commander, or Community Leader who retires is allowed to return as that rank at any time, with the approval of fellow leadership. However, if one retires and joins/creates another clan/community will not be allowed to return as that same rank.

A leader who was retired and joined/created another clan will return as a Sergeant.

1.5 Community Relations


Members of Insane Gaming are not allowed to be involved in another gaming community structure while participating in the rank structure here in IG. Members who choose to disobey this rule will be stripped of their rank, and removed from the community.

1.6 Joining IG


A member looking to enlist within IG can do so by contacting a Recruiter, Major or posting an application in the Welcome to IG forum. All members are required to have a working headset, an Xbox 360, one of the games we support and access to Xbox LIVE.

Members looking to join can post an application here.

Members that have left IG and are re-joining must go back as a Recruit and request to join a Battalion (Refer to section 1.4)

1.7 Battalion Transfers


A member wishing to transfer Battalions is allowed to do so once every two months. The Battalion Transfer must be approved by all Brigade Commanders and Battalion Generals.

If a member wishes to transfer Battalions more than once per two months. Member must have a valid reason and it must be approved by the Battalion Generals, Brigade Commanders, and District Commander(s).

1.8 Poaching


Poaching will not be tolerated. Poaching is a form of "stealing" or "recruiting" a member to join their Battalion/Company. If a member of the website is found poaching, he/she will be subject to a permanent ban from all of Insane Gaming (IG).

Poaching in any form is prohibited.

1.9 Battalion Regulations


Battalion's cannot create excessive rules, excessive roles or cruel and unusual punishments in the Battalion Policies.

All Battalion policies must be passed by the District Commander. Any Battalion policy seen as a violation will be investigated and the required action(s) will be taken to make sure that Battalion policies meet guidelines.

1.10 Chain of Command


It is essential that members know and practice the Chain of Command, in order to ensure the smooth operations of the community. You should always be aware the order of the ranks as well as who your immediate superiors are in order to know who you should be reporting to, seeking help from, and receiving orders from.

It is also pertinent to understand that IG does have a rank structure, and varying amounts of authority come with each rank. Members should be aware of who has the authority to do what, as well as understanding that directives from leadership should be taken as such and are not optional if you wish to remain a member of IG.

II. Discipline

2.1 Punishment


Any member who disobeys or violates one or more regulations will be subject to one of the following consequences.

Probation - This is just a warning with no substantive changes to your posting abilities. You will most likely get a Private Message from the moderator or administrator that put you on Probation detailing why (so that you know what not to do next time).

Suspension - These place temporary limitations to a forum members abilities and last anywhere from 3 days to a month in length.

Ban - A ban is permanent. Bans normally go to members who violate one or more of the community Regulations, The Code.
